It’s important to stay hydrated when basking in the beautiful sunshine, whether that’s through drinking lots of water, or enjoying delicious non-alcoholic cocktails!

Non-alcoholic cocktails have all the iconic flavours of the cocktails that you love, just without the alcohol. From fruity drinks, to frozen mocktails and classic island flavours, you’re sure to be in paradise with every sip!

So, whether you’re tee-total or want a gorgeous summer cocktail that both you and the kids can enjoy, we’ve got the perfect virgin cocktails for you to try!

1. Virgin Mojito

Let’s kick off this list of non-alcoholic cocktails with a classic – the Mojito! Using only three simple ingredients of soda water or tonic, lime and fresh mint, you’ll feel like you’re in Mexico! That’s really all it takes. Just a few ingredients that pack a powerful punch. Make sure you serve with a generous helping of ice for the ultimate refreshing cocktail, perfect for a hot summer’s day.

2. Cuddles on the Beach

You may recognise this cocktail by another name – a Sex on the Beach mocktail. Yes, Cuddles on the Beach is the non-alcoholic version of its infamous counterpart that’s enjoyed by holiday goers everywhere!

To make it, all you need is cranberry juice, orange juice and peach juice or peach nectar – a juice made up of peach, sugar and lemon. To go the extra mile you can also add grenadine (a non-alcoholic bar syrup). Then simply mix all these ingredients together with ice and watch the beautiful colours of a sunset form in your glass.

3. Virgin Pina Colada

Be transported to the beautiful Caribbean with this ultimate Virgin Pina Colada recipe! Simply gather all the ingredients you would need for a typical Pina Colada, and just leave out the rum. That includes pineapple juice, coconut milk, lime juice, ice or dairy-free ice cream to make your vegan Pina Colada even creamer. You can top it all off with a cherry and cocktail umbrella to really feel like you’re on a sandy beach somewhere glorious!

4. Non-Alcoholic Pimms

Get the taste of the British summer with a refreshing, alcohol-free jug of Pimms. A favourite amongst BBQs, garden parties, and of course Wimbledon, Pimms is a British institution, and with this easy mocktail recipe, everyone can get a taste!

All you need is lemonade, strawberries, summer fruits (we recommend raspberries and kiwi), cucumber and mint. Blend your strawberries into a smooth consistency and mix with lemonade before pouring into a glass with ice cubes. Simply add the fruits of your choice with the chopped cucumber and mint leaves and enjoy!

5. Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri

When it’s boiling outside there is nothing better than a frozen drink, and none taste sweeter than a gorgeous, non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri. All you need to do is blend strawberries (frozen or fresh), with zesty lime juice, and crushed ice to make a delicious, slushy style beverage that will let you cool down in style!

6. Gin Free G&T

Just when you thought the crisp, refreshing flavours of the classic G & T couldn’t be replaced, we’ve got an alcohol free gin and tonic recipe that will leave you mind blown! Now you can enjoy this iconic summer beverage using cardamom pods, cucumber, a chamomile tea bag, cloves, rosemary, mint and lemon zest all topped up with some decadent tonic water. Delicious!

7. Peach Iced Tea

You might have heard of Long Island Iced Tea but Peach Iced Tea is a super refreshing non alcoholic drink for a hot summer day – and will make you feel like you’ve stepped right into an American movie. It’s also a great one for the kids – you can just swap out a normal tea bag for a decaffeinated one. All you need for this simple Peach Iced Tea recipe is granulated sugar, ripe peaches and one tea bag per serving – either caffeinated or decaffeinated depending on your preference.

8. Pink Lemonade

Pink lemonade is a sweet and tasty alternative to alcohol as it quenches your thirst and gives you a little sugary kick. You can make a big batch of this for a picnic or beach trip, or even just in your garden on a hot day. Pink lemonade is perfect for kids and adults alike and is a great way to use up any lemons you may have lying around. Simply combine lemons, caster sugar and raspberries in a saucepan and bring to boil, before pouring the yummy mixture over a whole lot of ice to keep it nice and cool!

9. Alcohol Free Passionfruit Martini

Passionfruit martinis are the pinnacle of any night out with your pals. They’re fruity, a little bit on the sour side and of course super delicious! All you’re going to need for this tasty concoction are lemons, egg white, passion fruits (halved), sugar syrup, sparkling grape juice and 100ml of alcohol free spirit and voila, your yummy passion fruit mocktail awaits.
